Acupuncture is a component of the health care system of China that can be traced back at least 2,500 years. The general theory of acupuncture is based on the premise that there are patterns of energy flow (Qi) through the body that are essential for health. Disruptions of this flow are believed to be responsible for disease. Acupuncture corrects imbalances of flow at identifiable points close to the skin.

Acutron technology was first developed in 1988 by Dr. Darren Starwynn and a team of engineers to address the need for highly effective, non-drug, pain management. Acutron Mentor’s remarkable effectiveness is based on its ability to apply specific frequencies, polarities and current levels of electrical energy required for each individual patient condition.

Advanced Kinesiology

Kinesiology, also known as biomechanics, is the study of body movement. Applied kinesiology (AK) which is also know as muscle strength testing, is a method of diagnosis and treatment based on the belief that various muscles are linked to particular organs and glands, and that specific muscle weakness can signal distant internal problems such as nerve damage, reduced blood supply, chemical imbalances or other organ or gland problems. Practitioners contend that by correcting this muscle weakness, you can help heal a problem in the associated internal organ.

Bio-Energy Testing

Bioenergetic regulation begins with the premise that the body’s bioelectrical system is the governing system of the body. This can be substantiated by physiological fact. We know that the heart beats due to electrical irritation on its wall, and most of us are aware that death occurs when brain wave function ceases.

Cryotherapy consists of sitting in a cryotherapy booth for 2–4 minutes, in freezing or near freezing temperatures. It helps with muscle pain, as well as some joint and muscle disorders, such as arthritis. Many athletes use this treatment to help heal their athletic injuries.

Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which a local suction is created on the skin; practitioners believe this mobilizes blood flow in order to promote healing. Suction is created using heat (fire) or mechanical devices (hand or electrical pumps).

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial rejuvenation acupuncture, sometimes referred to as “acupuncture facelift,” is a wonderful timeless beauty technique used by the Chinese since the Sung Dynasty (960-1279AD). In Chinese, it is called “Me Rong Zhen”. Cosmetic acupuncture was performed on the Empress and Emperor’s concubines. Today, it is an effective non-surgical yet painless way to lessen the appearance of fine lines as well as deeper wrinkles. According to Chinese medicine, it improves circulation and stimulates the body’s natural anti-aging powers.

Moxibustion is a form of heat therapy in which dried plant materials called “moxa” are burned on or very near the surface of the skin. The intention is to warm and invigorate the flow of Qi in the body.

In this method, the moxa material is compressed into a stick or pole, that can be lit and allowed to smolder, producing a unique form of very penetrating heat.

Kinesiology is the art and science of movement of the human body. Kinesiology is used in NAET to compare the strength and weakness of any muscle (also known as neuromuscular sensitivity testing (NST)) of the body in the presence and absence of any substance. A measured weakness in the presence of a substance is due to the effect of an allergy to the item the person is touching. This simple method can be used to detect your allergens.

Yoni Steaming

Vaginal steaming, also known as V-steaming or yoni steaming is an age-old natural remedy used to cleanse the vagina and uterus, regulate menstruation, and ease period cramps and bloating.

Take a seat on our relaxing Yoni throne which directs herb-infused steam into your vagina. The steaming water contains herbs such as mugwort, rosemary, wormwood and basil. The warmth of the steam is supposed to soften and open the pores of the vaginal and vulvar skin so that the herbs can be absorbed into the skin and uterus and impart medicinal affects.
